This is entry-level technical work involving the implementation
and operational support of telecommunications voice services. This classification refers problems to the proper support areas and provides
customer feedback and may assist with basic field troubleshooting and
repairs.
An employee in a position allocated to this class assists with
entry-level operational support of simple communications systems. This
position takes calls from customers in the ISS Network Operations Center.
Work is performed under general supervision and is reviewed through
conferences, reports and evaluation of results obtained.
Required Skills and Certifications:
- High School Degree
- Two (2) years experience in telephony, networking or VoIP system administration
- Must complete SIP Basics training within 11 months of hire.
