This is technical and analytical work assisting with monitoring
and diagnostics of network data communications. An employee in this
position is responsible for operational (troubleshooting and repair)
support of complex communications and network equipment over a wide
area network. The position refers problems to the proper support areas
and provides customer feedback.
An employee in this position is responsible for planning,
implementing and coordinating the installation or operational support
of simple and complex wide area network systems and associated support
components.
This position reports to the Manager of Network Services and the
work is evaluated on quality of results obtained, conferences,
customer feedback and reports.
Required Skills and Certifications:
- Associates degree in business with concentration in MIS, computer science, engineering, statistics or closely related field
- One (1) year of experience in network administration
