This is independent advanced technical and analytical work
involving project management and systems design for implementation,
management and operational support of complex. telecommunications voice
services.
The employee in this classification is responsible for acting
as the telecommunications project manager and providing budget
preparation for the voice communications project.
An employee in a position allocated to this class acts as a
designer and analyst of simple and advanced complex telecommunications
voice services and mentors other classifications within this series.
Work is performed under general supervision and is reviewed through
conferences, reports and evaluation of results obtained.
Required Skills and Certifications:
- Degree in Computer Science or closely related field
- Four (4) years experience in telephony, networking or VoIP system administration
