Nature of the work:
- To augment staff to support the development and maintenance of CATS Portal for Consumer Affairs.
Specification of needed skill sets
- Minimum (6) years Microsoft. NET (C# or VB.Net)
- Minimum (6) years PL-SQL/Transact-SQL/ANSI-SQL technologies/standards (Oracle or SQL Server)
- Minimum (2) years’ MVC 5.0 or higher, .Net Core 3.0 or higher,
- Minimum (2) years’ experience in Web API 2, Entity Framework 5.0 or higher
Required experience/skills/knowledge (software/hardware/project, etc)
Minimum of 6 yrs. Required working experience (otherwise, please don’t send resume) in the following areas:
- Net Framework 4.5 or higher using VB.Net/C# Object oriented concepts, ASP.Net page life cycle, AJAX.
- JavaScript and jQuery, Ajax using Ajax Control Toolkit.
- HTML, CSS 3.0, Bootstrap, Cross browser HTML support and DOM understanding.
- Oracle 19c or SQL Server 2019, DDL/DML, PL-SQL knowledge in packages, stored procedures, functions, performance tuning of SQL code.
- MVC 5.0 or higher and Entity Framework 5.0 or higher
- AngularJS, Angular, .Net Core 3.0 or higher
Preferred but not required experience / skills / knowledge: in the following areas
- TFS 2013 or higher, Branching, Builds Queuing, Web Application Deployment and understanding of
- Application Change Control
- Well versed in TOAD, SQL Server management studio. Experience working with large Oracle databases, SQL Server databases, data import export to PDF, Excel and text files.
- Proficient in enterprise reporting tools like PowerBI or SSRS or Tableau.
