This is professional, technical and analytical work with
responsibility for supporting server operating and hardware systems
involving planning, installation, configuration, maintenance and
troubleshooting support.
An employee in a position allocated to this class has full
access to the server operating system, programs, recovery and system
utilities. Independent judgment is necessary to accomplish tasks and
a high degree of coordination is maintained with analysts, operations
personnel, vendors and customers.
This position report to the Senior Manager and is evaluated based on quality of results obtained, conferences, customer feedback and reports.
Required Skills and Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, statistics or closely related field
- Three (3) years of experience in server administration
